Woori Yallock Farm School

The students warmed up with a navigation activity. They displayed teamwork and navigation skills on the Farm School orienteering course. They worked in teams using maps and compasses to locate a series of markers around the site.
Next we spent time in the classroom completing the theoretical aspects of the unit Support Ecosystem Restoration.

This was followed by a visit to the Warburton Rainforest Galley, where the students learned about the factors influencing the distribution and structure of forest environments. The students walked onto the raised platform amongst a canopy of towering Mountain Ash and ancient Myrtle Beech trees.

Finally, we visited the Mount Donna Buang Summit, where we appreciated stunning views of the Great Dividing Range.
