Woori Yallock Farm School

The students spent most of the morning working on a revegetation project in the wetlands area. They planted tubestock, installed guards, and removed weeds; all contributing to the unit Support Ecological Restoration. We also top dressed the pathways with gravel, relating to the unit Maintain the Workplace.

This was followed by a focus on the unit Record Information About Country. The students learned of the history of our first nations people and their cultural practices. Finally, we visited Coranderrk cemetery, where we learned of the lives of local indigenous people.
