VCAL- Yarra Valley Nocturnal Zoo
The VCAL class have been investigating the plight of koalas in the local area. We visited Yarra Valley Nocturnal Zoo today to see the koalas and other animals there.
The koalas have been impacted by bush fires, so all their homes and eucalyptus trees were burnt down.
To help, we’ve made (and are selling) dog biscuits. The money will go towards the gum trees we will be donating to the Yarra Valley Nocturnal Zoo. They are setting up a sanctuary to breed koalas to help the near endangered species.
Cost: the dog biscuits are 3 of them for $5 or 7 for $10
These can be bought at school and are located at both campuses. Please see the front office if you would like to support the Koala’s and our VCAL class
Ingredients:
Option 1 – whole wheat flour, egg, peanut butter, water and honey
Option 2 – wholemeal flour, cheese, bacon and chicken broth
