Year 8, 9 and 10 Start to Row

Students in Years 8, 9 & 10 will have a presentation from Alexandra Viney an Australian Para-Rowing Olympian who will talk about rowing, resilience and what she has learnt from the sport as well as her Olympic experience.

This presentation will occur at the start of period 4 in the Gym.

Period 3 – Rowing Clinic

Selected students from both campuses have been chosen to participate in a clinic to learn how to use the rowing ergs correctly with staff and the Olympian taking students through the correct technique. Students will then be selected to represent the College at the Australian Indoor Rowing Championship in October.

Students who have been selected for the clinic – Please bring FULL PE uniform for the session.
